*** Important COVID-19 Protocol Update ***
I have been fully vaccinated and continue to follow all CDC guidelines. I use an air purifier in the treatment room and I continue to thoroughly disinfect the massage table and all surfaces before and after each session. Hand sanitizer is always available for your use.
Face masks are optional for clients who are fully vaccinated. Please cancel your appointment if you have any possible symptoms of COVID-19; I will do the same.
Thank you for your understanding and support of my practice.
Massage is the manipulation of soft tissue to heal and soothe the body. Some of the ways we do this are by applying pressure to, moving and/or holding the body. When we are in pain or discomfort it is an instinctive response to touch and hold, right?
It has been my experience that massage assists in relieving the tension or stress that accumulates in our body, mind, and spirit. It is all related. Massage helps heighten our body awareness. With this awareness, we can begin to see a relationship between our attitudes, our feelings, our behaviors, our posture and our gait. All of these things contribute to our overall sense of well-being. Wellness is your reward for taking care of yourself. Therefore, it is crucial to set aside personal time to allow your body to unwind and recuperate from the stresses of everyday life.
It is my goal to promote health and well-being. This is a process. This is a journey. I invite you to experience the many possibilities that body work can show you.
